DC Comics has announced that Batman #1 from writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jiménez has sold over 500,000 copies. The Company also revealed that Batman #1 has officially become the “fourth renumbering for DC’s Batman comic book series in the title’s 84-year history.”
Additionally, DC’s Batman #1 receive a second printing which will be released on October 15 and will include a recolored Batman logo on Jorge Jiménez’s main cover for issue #1, a new open-to-order cardstock variant cover by Jiménez and Tomeu Morey, plus a stunning new variant cover by Dan Mora offered in both cardstock and foil editions.
