Gunn made the announcement with a drawing of Superman and Lex Luthor by Jim Lee.

James Gunn has announced that the next Superman project will be titled “Man of Tomorrow”. Gunn announcement with an illustration featuring Supermanand Lex Luthor in a green and purple mech suit by Jim Lee.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow the animated film was released 2020. It was directed by Chris Palmer, and written by Tim Sheridan. Man of Tomorrow is based on the 2003 mini-series titled Superman: Birthright . The film is centred around the early days of Clark Kent’s career as the superhero Superman.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow is scheduled for July 9, 2027.
