Former DRAGON BALL and Weekly Shōnen Magazine Editor-in-Chief Kazuhiko Torishima revealed during a YouTube live stream that “It would be better to produce a Vegeta story than Dragon Ball Super.” Toriyama’s former editor also said “Dragon Ball Daima was a trash anime.”
Torishima said in the interview that “Super manga isn’t bad but the V Jump editing team, specifically editor, is incompetent and doesn’t check work “.
Torishima was Dragon Ball editor from 1984 to 1995. He was the man who discovered Akira Toriyama. He also was Toriyama’s editor throughout the run of Dr. Slump (1980–1984).
