GINTAMA creator DANDELION Manga Gets Anime Adaptation.

The anime, directed by Daisuke Mataga, will have Chikahiro Kobayashi and Megumi Han as its stars.

DANDELION by GINTAMA creator, Hideaki Sorachi, will receive an anime series adaptation. The show will be available for streaming on Netflix from April 2026. In addition, the streaming service also released a promo visual.

DANDELION, the action comedy anime series will have a total of 7 episodes and will be animated by NAZ studio. It features Chikahiro Kobayashi as Tetsuo Tanba and Megumi Han as Misaki Kurogane — two angels tracking down Earthbound souls and laying them to rest and just trying to get through their daily work.

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos and Grimoire of Zero chief animation director, Daisuke Mataga is directing the anime with Yōsuke Suzuki in charge of the series scripts. Ai Asari (Sabikui Bisco) is designing the characters, and Yūki Hayashi (Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia) is composing the music.

Tetsuo Tanba and Misaki Kurogane are two operatives working for the Japan Angel Federation, an organization tasked with helping souls pass on to the afterlife. One day, the two encounter an old man’s spirit, and the two have to use their skills to help him pass on. This task, however, proves difficult due to their conflicting personalities.
