Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura’s BLUELOCK soccer manga will be adapted into a live-action movie. The project was announced at the “Blue Lock Egoist Fest 2025” event on Sunday. Additionally, CREDEUS (live-action Golden Kamuy film) is producing the Blue Lock Live-action film which is scheduled for release in summer 2026. The manga artist, Yūsuke Nomura, also commented on the manga being adapted into a live-action movie.
“It’s finally been announced! A new anime series!! The New Hero Wars is finally being adapted into a film. Please look forward to the exploits of these overseas characters, who are even more eccentric than the members of Blue Lock!!” – Nomura Yusuke.
